Job Description :

Responsible for ensuring compliance in the delivery and quality of business results so that management can make sound decisions related to the financial impact of all legal entities owned by the company.

A. Identifies and evaluates financial variances and alerts management to them so that effective action plans can be made and these areas improved through corrective actions.
B. Collaborates in the preparation of internal/external financial reports, board of directors materials, and monthly financial analysis materials.
C. Responsible for the annual budget process for the organization.

D. Responsible for recurring reports and projections during the year evaluating the current results against budget and providing recommendations to achieve the objectives of the year.
E. Provides AD HOC analysis for the organization.
F. Audits and analyzes the data of the Accounting department to support in the preparation and analysis of the financial statements.
G. Plans, anticipates and recommends financial decisions to follow.

H. Coordinates and directs annual audits.
I. Improves existing systems and processes; initiates corrective actions.
J. Assigns projects and directs the operations of the personnel in charge.
K. Protects organizational operations while maintaining the confidentiality of financial information.

L. Contributes to the success of your team by meeting the established objectives.
M. Supports the Comptroller and the Chief Financial Officer in analysis and decision-making related to the financial health of the organization.

Required Qualifications :

  • Language

The position requires an advanced level of English and Spanish to read, write, analyze and translate, financial reports and legal documents. Respond effectively to questions and complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community fluent in the language. Present orally speeches and articles to management and public groups, in order to be published and conform to a prescribed style and format.

  • Mathematics

The incumbent must possess an intermediate level of application of mathematical concepts that makes it easier for him to calculate figures and quantities such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, hundreds, area, circumference, and volume. In addition, you must be able to plot and translate graphs and apply concepts such as probability ratio and proportions to practical situations.


  • Reasoning Ability

The incumbent must possess reasoning skills that allow him to define problems, gather information, establish facts, and reach valid conclusions. In addition, you must apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of practical and intellectual problems and deal with non-verbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) in its most difficult phases.

  • Technology

The incumbent must know and master the ERP System accounting operating system and the MS Office program. You should also use office equipment such as: computers, copiers, printers, facsimiles, calculators, among others.
