Job Description :

The Pharmacist Staff is the professional in charge of the supervision of the Pharmacy Department in the absence of the Pharmacist Regent. He is responsible for leading the functions of the pharmacy technicians of the unit where he works. Must have the capacity to handle different situations with employees, visitors and solve problems in a framework of professionalism using the judgment and common sense to make decisions. You must comply with all laws and regulations applicable to the pharmacy.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Ensure the dispensing of medical prescriptions in a correct and appropriate framework according to regulations applicable.

  • Provide and maintain pharmaceutical services. E.g. Adherence Programs, Vaccination, etc.

  • You must assist the managing pharmacist in the daily tasks of the prescription book, including the supervision of employees during your work shift.

  • Educate patients on the appropriate use of their medications.

  • Manage and resolve patient problems, complaints and questions promoting customer trust and loyalty.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and corporate policies.

  • Ensure the proper management of the inventory of controlled substances.

  • Use the Controlled Drug Prescription Surveillance (PDMP) program to secure dispensing

  • appropriate prescriptions for controlled drugs.

  • Interact with physicians to obtain additional information about patients and their prescriptions.

  • Maintain the cleanliness, sharpness, efficiency and safety of the recipe book.

  • Ensure excellent patient service by all pharmacy staff.

  • Model and provide leadership and development for pharmacy staff.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bacheors (BS. Pharm) or Doctorate in Pharmacy- Preferable

  • Professional license, membership, registration and diplomas.

  • 1 year of minimum experience in Community Pharmacy- Preferable

  • HIPAA, (Security and Privacy); Confidentiality, & Fraud, Abuse and Waste (FWA)*

  • Immunization Certification
