Responsabilities: 

 


• Sets up and maintains controls and documentation, including writing technical and management system reports.


• Develops corrective actions as required. Communicates significant findings, including potential risk management issues.
• Evaluates statistical methods and procedures used to obtain data to ensure validity, applicability, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Identify alternative methods to provide statistical information and support to internal and external customers using dashboards, recurrent reports, and non-traditional methods.
• Provides technical support to questionnaire design, sample selection and analysis of survey data.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and quality requirements are met as per local and federal laws and regulations and other agencies, as applicable.
• Participates and collaborates with internal and external audits, in the division’s processes automation, corporate and divisional projects, and other similar tasks.
• Completes other tasks as assigned by the supervisor and that are essential for the corporate objectives and the operational plans of the division.


• Develops new reports, dashboards, and other analytical products to enable transparency and to monitor clinical operational processes, health plan utilization, and to provide timely information to senior management regarding status of compliance with guidelines, rules/regulations and internal policies and procedures and to assist with decision-making and tracking accountability.
• Conducts studies to measure the financial effectiveness of clinical programs, including Return on Investment (ROI) models.
• Prepares financial analysis models to support vendor evaluation, contracting, and contract-renewals.
• Produces statistical reports and comparative analysis of internal and external data and identify trends, patterns or fluctuations, and recommend future action to the corporation.
• Conducts special exercises to reconcile the cost effectiveness of the clinical initiatives and medical/payment policies with paid claims in order to identify discrepancies and recommend opportunities for improvement.
• Understands key clinical strategic initiatives and collaborate where appropriate to achieve desired results.
• Identifies relationships and trends by mastering the analysis of the main types of health plan data elements (membership, claims utilization, premium, disease states, clinical operations, among others) as well as any factors that could impact the financial results of the corporation.
• Designs and implements quality improvement processes, including selection of valid and reliable indicators and coordinates monitoring and evaluation activities.
• Supports special studies with external vendors to ensure compliance with corporate requirements and interprets their results.
• Compiles and submits recurrent statistical reports for internal and external data and identify trends, patterns, or fluctuations, and recommends future action for the Corporation.
• Coordinates with other areas to obtain requested data when it is not readily available.
