Business Account Analyst
The primary responsibility of a Business Account Analyst is to analyze and manage business accounts to ensure optimal financial performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires a combination of financial acumen, data analysis skills, and effective communication to collaborate with internal teams and external clients.
EssentialFunctions
· Manage customer demand analysis and provide feedback to customer service and the Business Unit leader if significant changes are discovered.
· Key responsibility for direct support with customer MP & L designees.
· Manage the uploading of customer forecasts. Review the forecast and provide a weekly report showing variances in customer orders placed versus forecast to the Business Unit leader.
· Provide yearly outlook with operations and sales to ensure they plan accordingly. Communicate trends internally and externally to mitigate against stock outages.
· Communicate constraints or other restrictions.
· Develop a strategic plan for continued and stable supply of incoming raw materials and outbound customer shipments.
· Initial customer inquiry review.
· Support CSR group with their assigned responsibilities for order entry.
· Have understanding, ability and skills level for CSR duties.
· Analysis and understanding of Customers, Account trends and needs.
· Coordination of product samples/start-up, expediting and other post-sale activities.
· Coordinate activities with and in support of Regional Sales Managers
· Create and maintain positive and productive relationships with both external and internal customers.
· Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
PhysicalDemands
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
10-15% travel is expected for this position.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the wire and cable industry.
