Business Unit Sales Director
The Sales Director/Business Unit Director oversees and implements action plans to drive operational efficiency to meet goals that contribute to the success of a company. In addition, this position is responsible for developing a strategic sales plan that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization. This position requires great attention to detail, flexibility, high level communication (both written and oral) and problem-solving skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Analysis and understanding of Customers, Account trends and needs is an on-going aspect to this position.
· Communication with key account leadership within organization on a weekly basis.
· Effectively communicate with customers regarding variances in requirements as prepared by the Key Account Analyst.
· Provide leadership and customers with outlook review and action plan to support sustained supply of req. This will require direct communication with all departments.
· Develops annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives.
· Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
· Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives.
· Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
· Build effective relationships with the clients to sustain revenue.
· Implements approved distribution strategies.
· Manages multiple channels selling strategies.
· Initiate, Plan, Execute, Monitor, and review business project activities and ensure their completion within a scheduled period and budget.
· Recruit, train and promote talents.
