Job Description :
- It guides policyholders regarding their policy coverages and endorsements and the value of their claim.
- Evaluates and works claims of policyholders and / or claimants to determine their value, adjustments and corresponding payments.
- Investigates the cases of claimants and policyholders of commercial and personal businesses.
- Evaluates and prepares repair estimates.
Required Qualifications :
- Possess an Adjuster's license, issued by the PR Insurance Commissioner.
- Knowledge and mastery of regulatory guidelines regarding the adjustment process in the insurance industry
- Ability to conduct investigations and resolution of claims cases
- Analytical capacity for decision-making in the authorization or denial of payments and for judging the value of the claim.
- Ability to guide and negotiate with clients and/or workshops
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Mitchell and document scanning
- Ability to express oneself orally and in writing in English and Spanish
