Job Description :
The main objective of this position is to be a leader in the development of new businesses in the market or group of markets under his/her responsibility. Being a leader and support business growth with the implementation of the strategic and development of new routes and established by executives assigned by the distributor. The Key Account Manager Food Service (KAM FS) will be responsible for leading and achieve the KPI set for the market or group of markets under his/her responsibility in terms of manage the complete business and reach the KPI’s and resolve any issue with the operation, example responsible to reach with his/her team the targets in metric tons, gross profit, DSO, JBP execution with the MEU’s, development categories and execute the guidelines to growth on each category from his Regional manager and especially in the penetration and market development with increase use in differentiated products and high profitability. Duties and responsibilities.

• Market work should consist of __30__ % - _50__ % of the week. KAM should spend approximately _2_ to _3_ day per week in the market visits with sales or FOS assigned. 

• Development and management of Sales executives or FOS in order to increase monthly, quarterly and annual sales in the country(s). 

• Management and development of accounts with service packages assigned. 

o Develop a mutual business relationship with the MEU's (Mayor End Users) 

o Understand the needs of each client and provide commercial and operational solutions that fit their needs thought our direct teams or Dist. Sales Reps. 

o Develop marketing incentives plans if necessary, to increase sales. 

o Analyze the Sell out and inventories of the distributors to implement better RTM to improve our results.

o Be the point of contact with our clients to coordinate in better way our communication and business execution continuity.

• Evaluate andcoordinate market visits with his/her team, to understand, coach and adjust any topic to improve our presentations thought our Sales Executives, FOS or Dist. Sales Force. 


• Responsible to coordinate the Weekly planification (visits, cuttings, product focus, execution) for his/her team (Sales executives or FOS) 


• Support marketing initiatives to coordinate or execute on time any activity, request or information then the company would need. KAM responsible to the correct use of material support POP or other promotional material. 


• Responsible to participate and negotiate our presence in monthlyor By-weekly (depend of the market needs) meetings with Sales Distributor leadership to follow up on action plans and recommendations they give on our market execution and establish a sales pipeline and inventory management support. 


• Responsible to coordinate, prepare and present de QBR with the Distributor or client to present the results and next steps to reach our targets. KAM will responsible to request the support from finance and Sales Analyst to collect the information to build the PPT in coordination with the regional manager. 


• Responsible to coordinate with the Regional manager, MKT team, Sales Analyst the Kick Off presentation every fiscal year to set and align the targets for the new fiscal

Required Qualifications :

  • Must be proficient in MS Office ( Word, Excel, Power Point) 

  • Must have experience managing Distributors, Foodservice segment or HORECA’s 

  • Nice to have: experience in both Central America and key Caribbean markets 

  • Work requires significant travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid driver’s license and automobile and American VISA. 

  • Must have problem solving, strategic mindset and excellent communication skills 

  • Fully Bilingual in Spanish and English verbal and written 

  • High level of responsibility. 

  • Analytic skills 

  • Goal oriented, focused, and assertive individual who needs little direction or supervision 

  • Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple initiatives of varying complexity
