Operations Manager Assistant
1. Applies Lean Management principles.
2. Manage relations with stakeholders inside and outside the factory to reach an appropriate communication flow (OHSE, Quality, Product development, Purchasing, Suppliers, etc…).
3. Supervise the application of plant policies in the operations team.
4. Promotes efficient People Development across the team with the support of HR Department.
5. Keeps areas clean and organized following the 6S principles.
6. Complies with safety and security regulations.
Meets each of the Environmental Policy and Company Commitment requirements and thus promote the preservation of the environment and natural resources.
1. Plan and leads production activities and establishes product priorities keeping effective operations and cost factors.
2. Establishes and negotiate monthly production schedules and communicate the plan externally and internally.
3. Develops and prepares mid and long-term capacity plans and proposes recommendations to support factory finances, Global planning and market requirements.
4. Oversees the development and preparation of short- and long-term month capacity plan.
5. Coordinate production activities with procurement, technical and Quality control to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines and equipment.
6. Oversees warehouse and logistic factory operation.
7. Coordinates, through supervision, the duties and responsibilities of the department and assures execution in compliance with ITG guidelines.
8. Coordinate with department heads on the application of methods and production standards, and adherence to safety programs.
9. Develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating inefficiencies and improve product and process quality
10.Review and analyses factory production performance monitoring systems, including quality control, mechanic and performance reports to determine causes for nonconformities.
11.Maintains controls for product quality, cost of production, material yields and usage, labor, and inventory through subordinate Leads.
12.Coordinate with Managers factory and procedural needs to support Operational short- and long-range needs.
13.Manages the Production and Supply Chain KPI’s.
14. Controls and reports departments budget and expenditures.
Prepares capital appropriation documentation and justification, as required.
· Lean Management Certification
· Knowledge of materials management processes.
· Familiar with ISO and FDA regulations relative to manufacturing and materials management operations.
Language Skills:
· Fully bilingual (Spanish and English).
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
· Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and suppliers.
Math Skills:
· Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
· Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Computer Skills:
· Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
· ERP solutions and shop floor control systems.
· Computer literate and knowledge of Internet and Business applications such as Microsoft office.

Knowledge of strategic/business planning, leadership, resource allocation, production processes and people management
