Job Description :
Leads and manages activities of Supply Chain department. Sets up and puts in place mid and long- term strategy for Supply Chain consistent with factory vision and approach. Ensures budget adherence and compliance with regulatory compliance, safety and environmental.












  • Part of the organization management team.

  • Applies Lean Management principles

  • Ensures relevant data are correctly maintained in ERP systems, including accuracy of products technical data, inventory records.

  • Prepares, controls and reports department budget and expenditures with appropriate corrective actions.

  • Ensures stocks are managed according to Group guidelines, including shelf life.

  • Assures right material and optimal quantities are procured and delivered to meet production schedules and other company needs.

  • Coordinates, through supervision, the duties and responsibilities of the department and assures execution in compliance with ITG guidelines.

  • Contributes to the implementation of Lean Manufacturing practices, delivering safety improvements, quality and cost efficiency.

  • Implements plant policies consistent with Company policies and supervise the application of such policies to Supply Chain.

  • Ensures Supply Chain functions are organized and performed in line with group Health and Safety guidelines.

  • Guarantee for Supply Chain adherence to regulatory compliance, including Group policies and FDA regulations.

  • Reviews and analyzes relevant KPI data in order to guide teams on relevant continuous improvement studies and projects aimed at KPI improvement.

  • Manages the Supply Chain department KPI’s and develops a plan with subordinate managers to improve and maintain compliance with established standards and targets

  • Coordinates with Maintenance Department the maintenance of equipment, grounds and general housekeeping for all warehouses and work areas under its supervision.

  • Manages or contributes to all projects to develop of our activities in Supply Chain and in the factory including capital documentation and justification.

  • Manages relations with stakeholders outside the factory to reach an appropriate communications flow (OHSE, Quality, Product Development, Purchasing, Suppliers, etc.).

  • Promotes efficiency People Development across the organization with the support of HR Department.

  • Keeps areas clean and organized following the 6S principles.

  • Complies with safety and security regulations.

  • Guarantee for Supply Chain adherence to regulatory compliances, including Group and FDA.

  • Meets each of the Environmental Policy and Company Commitment requirements and thus promote the preservation of the environment and natural resources.


 



  • Leads, coordinate and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of Supply Chain.

  • Leads and plans Supply Chain activities and establishes priorities keeping effectiveness, cost factors.

  • Develops and prepares mid and long-term capacity plans and propose recommendations.

  • Establishes and negotiate monthly production schedules by production line and SKU and communicate the plan externally and internally.

  • Coordinates material purchases and miscellaneous requirements to assure timely availability and no line stoppages.



Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business, or similar and/or 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing plant operations.


Knowledge of materials management processes.


Familiar with ISO and FDA regulations relative to manufacturing and materials management operations.




Language Skills:


Fully bilingual (Spanish and English).


Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.


Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.


Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and suppliers.




Math Skills:




Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.


Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.




Computer Skills:


Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.


ERP solutions and shop floor control systems.


Computer literate and knowledge of Internet and Business applications such as Microsoft office.




Other Skills and Abilities:


Planning/organizational skills to consistently, effectively and timely comply with business goals, plans, processes, practices-within due dates.


Problem solving skills to solve complex and practical problems.
