Job Description :
 

Provide leadership and support for the Local OTE Dept. team members that will constantly ensure the successful provision tooling and engineering to the production department. Liaise with all relevant Depts. to ensure that that the OTE Dept., and company goals are achieved. To have a constant focus on Safety and Quality topics within the Dept. and the company in general. To support OTE Operations Manager by furnishing data and reports as required. To constantly control and monitor costs in all elements of OTE in order to keep within the assigned budget. To manage and optimize the assigned capacity and to support the OTE leaders across the LHT network.




Essential Responsibilities



  • Project preparation list assessments

  • Dynamic planning in relation to company processes eg: VMB etc...

  • Staff managing & development

  • Project Development and assignment.

  • Ensuring the smooth running & upkeep of the section processes & setup, to a high level of standard as stipulated by aviation & company regulations.

  • Hangar Optimization.

  • Loan tools.

  • Leasing of tools or any other tool revenue generation opportunities.

  • Manage replacement & Investments of tools.

  • Tool liquidation.

  • Alternative tooling process implementation



  • Cost control Any other tasks, assigned by the OTE Operations manager

  • PR creation

  • Manage contractors

  • Manage audits

  • Production interface/point of contact

  • Budget setting & reporting

  • Monitoring and control of tasks assigned to the direct subordinates

  • Training process




Required Qualifications :
 

  • Good technical and mechanical understanding.

  • Fluent English (both verbal and written).

  • Computer Literacy.

  • Good analytical skills.

  • Experience with material resource planning systems (preferably SAP) is an advantage.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Excellent vendor and customer orientation.

  • Able to work efficiently under pressure, multitask and prioritize.

  • Self-motivated, confident and methodical.

  • Able to work independently as well as having excellent team spirit.
