Job Description :


Handling of logistic claims data in Salesforce: including shortages, defects, quality, temperature, documentation, claims from shipping companies, among others.




  • Linkage between quality departments, carriers, and insurance companies to investigate claims received from customers.




  • Ensure all audit points are properly addressed upon receiving a claim: providing documentary support for all claimed charges, approving/rejecting charges, communicating with the customer, and ensuring charges reported to Finance are accurate.




  • Act as the "face of the customer" for all logistic claims within the Supply Chain department, providing follow-up, addressing inquiries, providing status updates, and timely resolution of cases.




  • Responsible for drafting the "letter of intent" in cases of temperature loss to the insurance company, and follow up until the claim is fully reimbursed.




  • Investigate, analyze, and process customer deductions on payments for logistic items.




  • Effectively communicate cases requiring authorization, including the investigation findings and the amount to be claimed.




  • Tracking of credit notes issued by Finance.




  • Collaborate with management to identify improvements in the claims processes, root cause analysis, to enhance service to our customers.




  • Maintenance of data in Salesforce for logistic claims KPIs in the Supply Chain.




Required Qualifications :



  • Bachelor's degree in Business: preference given to those with a focus on supply chain or logistics. Finance, international trade compliance, data analysis, or related fields are also accepted.




  • 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Claims, or similar role required.




  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience handling imports/exports, preferably in commercial deductions and/or credits and collections.




  • Ability to prioritize multiple demanding tasks and adapt to changing priorities.




  • Self-disciplined and highly organized.




  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.




  • Previous experience working with tight deadlines and demonstrated responsibility for precision and punctuality in work performed.




  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; Excel proficiency essential. Previous experience with SAP and Salesforce preferred.




  • Customer service skills.
